Hi Fastpass method students, how are you? Are you ready for this week’s fabulous lesson?

Hey Fastpass by the students. This week in our lesson is an incredible topic but before we get to the topic a warm welcome to all our new students that are joining us this month.Thank you so much and i am sure you will enjoy your lesson. Also to our students that answered all correctly in our Wednesday listening and our Friday test so well done thanks guys, very well done so what’s the lesson in our topic for this week? the lesson in our topic for this week is dance to the rhythm. Why dance to rhythm? Well, you see.

English and learning English is a lot like dancing. Why? Well, when you start dancing in the beginning it feels a little awkward and uncomfortable because of all the people that are looking and staring at you. But once you forget about all of that and let your hair down and start to dance, it feels fantastic and that is what learning english here at Brent English with the Fastpass method is all

about.  So our topic this week is dance to the rhythm and our grammar focus this week is on the difference between make and do and our teacher that’s going to be teaching you. This week is Derrick so Derek over to you.

– Thanks Brent. Hi guys, this week class we’re looking at make and do so make generally. We use our hands and do we have to use our minds but as it’s English.  There are always exceptions so let’s look at a few examples:

  • make a phone call because you have to pick up the pone
  • make an appointment because you have to write it down
  • make money because you have to take it and
  • make friends you have to hug your friends sometimes

okay and then with do

  • you have to do yoga because you’ve got to think about all those complicated positions like the tree
  • you have to do exercise because you’ve got to think about what you’re doing and
  • you have to do shopping you have to think about your list

So like I said as there’s always exceptions. We’ve got to make do with them so thanks guys. Have a good week!

Thanks Derek. I’m sure our students are going to do all the exercises.

Well there you have it

Guys this week in our lesson on the platform it’s dance to the rhythm. Remember we’re going to learn new vocabulary, expressions, improve our listening and our speaking and our grammar topic. Thanks to Derek is about the differences between make and do
