Hey Fast Pass Method students! how are you? the topic on our platform this week is work in progress as we are all working to improve in our private and our work life this is an excellent topic. We will be looking at new vocabulary, some wonderful expressions, some incredible listenings and amazing speaking topics because work forms an important part of our lives and so being able to speak and communicate about this topic is really important. Before we begin we want to say well done to all our students and answered all correctly for our Wednesday listening and our Friday test, well done to you guys and to our new students joining us thank you so much for trying out Brent English with our Fast Pass Method and thank you for believing in us. We really appreciate it. Now this week the gramar lesson is about confusing words and will be presented by Pash. It’s a little sad for us here at Brent English as we say goodbye to Pash as he starts a new chapter in his life. We want to thank him for all the hard work and dedication he has given us over the last three years and much of this would not have been possible without him Pasha, who’s our teacher but also our friend so Pash thank you so much for everything that you have done for us the students. Have a secret message for you at the end of the video so please check it out Pash will be presenting the grammar lesson this week and we will go over to Sonia to see what Sonia has for us. Sonia has changed her format too in a lesson to be incredibly interesting so we will go to Madrid to see what she has and we will check out with Adriana in our podcast to see what the podcast has for us. Now for the final time we will be going to Pash to see what he has in the lesson the grammar lesson which is confusing words for him to explain one final time over to you Pash so. Hello guys I mean that’s another week and we got a new challenge for you this time confusing words. There are many many of them but today we’re gonna have a look at some of them for example job and work what is the difference I mean:
– job refers more to your occupation and profession you know for example “my father’s job is a doctor
– and work that’s about the actions you do to earn money “I work from nine to five so i have the best job in the world”
– travel, guys, is a general activity of traveling for example “people travel more and more year after year around the world”
– good and we move into the last one but not least it’s a journey. Journey it talks about the travel from one point to another but that includes a little bit of an adventure yeah it’s not just the route because it’s a way but it’s a little bit more than that it’s a joy like our life is a journey.
