Ally this week! It’s a «Carnival» Atmosphere. Hey wonderful Brent English students, we are getting ready for Carnival. Carnival is celebrated by many countries around the world in preparation for Lent. And here in the northwest of Spain we celebrate by getting dressed up in our lesson and on our platform. We have some amazing content for you. D Man! Tell us what we can expect.
- Hi guys, This week’s lesson is going to be surprising. We have some great words like «Fancy» It’s an adjective that means extravagant, which people will be. This carnival. Then we have expressions like «Paint the town Red», which means to be wild. Tina, what’s the grammar this week?
- Hi guys. This week we are looking at prepositions of place «In-At-On» They sound Simple enough, but they are difficult indeed. We use «In» to represent being surrounded by something. For example, being «in» a city because you are surrounded by the city. Or being «in» a room because you are surrounded by walls. We use «at» for a particular place. For example @ home, @ school, we use «On» for something we have contact with. For example, the handcuffs are «on» my wrist.
