Brent English students, it’s time for us to learn about money. This week,
we learn about money, because remember with the FastPass Method, our objective is to get you speaking, learning new vocabulary and expressions that will help you improve your level of English. Let’s see what you can find in
this week’s lesson.
- That’s right, Brent. We have new vocabulary like the noun and verb, «Loan», and the noun «Mortgage».
- We have expressions like: «Break the bank» and «Make Ends Meet».
- Grammar this week is comparative and superlative adjectives. We use comparative to compare two things. For example, an apartment in New York is more expensive than an apartment in London. We use the superlative to compare more than two things. For example, an apartment in Hong Kong is the most expensive in the world.
