So this week the lesson is about the times they are changing. Why the times are changing? Well in Europe we are changing our clocks back or for any demand it’s a back or forward by an hour forward, no it’s back it’s coming out so we gained an extra hour. That’s so great so this weekend we get an extra hour of sleep. What am I gonna do with my extra hour of sleep? I want to sleep yeah probably, probably sleep, probably sleep. So guys this week we’re going to look at new expressions related to the time. We’re going to talk about telling the
time and a lot of other expressions that you can use when you speak. Remember the Fast Pass Method was designed for you to speak, speak, so get ready to speak, speak. We’re going to look at new vocabulary. Then we’re gonna go to our idioms and collocations and then we’re gonna finally finish off with our grammar. Remember we’re only looking at a bit of the grammar. This week grab a music foreign. So guys let’s start now with our vocabulary if you go to our platform at brentschool.com you check out our topic this week, which is the times they are changing and you go to a vocabulary section so let’s look at two of the vocabulary in our list
- first one is past time which is a noun -> Pastime. We’ve got pastime which is a noun that means to relax.
- the next one we’re looking at is revolutionize, which means to which is a verb that means to dramatically change revelation.
So guys, remember that that’s just some of the vocabulary that we will be looking at in this lesson with your fantastic teachers. Now it’s time for idioms and collocations. Remember the idioms and collocations they’ve extensions or Expressions that you can use that say a lot in just a few words let’s look at the first one:
- the first one we’re looking at is to clock off. If you clock off that means that you finish doing your work or you finish doing task that you were supposed to do because it’s the action of clocking clocking out okay clock off.
- the next one we’re looking at is time flies. Time flies means that the time passes very quickly for example with our videos time flies very quickly.
we’re getting better at this we’re getting really much better this year so that is some of our idioms and collocations. Now it’s time for grammar. We are looking at the conditionals: the first conditional, the second conditional and the third conditional. What are they? and when do we use them?
