Hey Fast Pass Method Students, how are you? The topic on our platform this week is technology. Now technology affects how we study, how we work and how we live and as technology is or modern electronic technology is a new concept the vocabulary and expressions are in English and so the ability to express and communicate about this topic is really important. So we will be looking at new vocabulary, some expressions, some incredible listenings. Everything designed to get you speaking, speaking, speaking because we truly believe that the only way and the fastest way to be able to improve your English is by speaking and speaking about topics that you find interesting and as we use technology every day the topic of technology is really important. But before we begin,  we want to say well done to all our students that answered all correctly for our Wednesday listening and our Friday test. Well done to our ninja level students, also to the new students joining us this week, thank you so much for joining us and we truly believe that you will be speaking much better much faster with the Fast Pass Method the grammar this week is about the past tense and will be explained by Lisa and Chanel and remember also our Fast Pass Español and also our podcast with Adriana. So let’s now go to Lisa and Chanel as they demonstrate and show us the verbs in the past tense and more importantly the pronunciation. Hey Lisa and Chanel! Thanks Brent hi guys. This week we are looking at verbs in the past tense and more importantly their pronunciation. So there are three major forms in English with the pronunciation. We have strong T for example Typed. TypeT. Chopped ChoppT- cooked-CookT.

Generally when the verb ends in a k in the past tense we pronounce it with a strong t but there are many other examples.

There’s also the d for example dressed-DressD, studied-studyD, Opened = OpenD.

Then there’s also the strong id sound: toasted=ToastID, added=addID
